The King Room was surprisingly comfortable and very clean. I loved having a microwave and fridge in the room for convenience. With a nice-sized flat-screen TV and free WiFi, it made for a great stay. Plus, the history of the place added a unique touch to my experience.
The location can be tricky to find.

The King Room had good water pressure in the shower, which made for a refreshing experience. I appreciated the convenience of a fridge and microwave in my room. The bed felt great and the pillows had a pleasant scent. Location-wise, it was close to my work, making it easy to get to my early morning appointments. However, the noise from semi-trucks passing by was distracting at times, especially during the day. The carpets in the hallways had a noticeable odor and could definitely use some attention. There were some amenities missing, like a towel bar and a lamp by the bed for easy access to light. I’m glad to say the air conditioning worked well. still, I feel better ventilation could improve air quality overall. Lastly, the deposit policy was a bit of a surprise. I wish I had known to bring cash for it, as it was held longer than I expected.

This stay exceeded my expectations for the price. The room featured a nicely updated layout with a great TV and impressively comfortable bedding. However, the carpets definitely need cleaning and the frequent cigarette smell from nearby rooms was bothersome at times.

Staying here with my family, including our little baby, was a breeze. The hotel was conveniently located near attractions like the Long Beach Cruise Terminal, making it easy for us to explore. We loved that there were spacious areas for the kids to play around in safely.
My wife says that the breakfast options could use a bit more variety for families.

good value but loud surroundings
The location was convenient for my early morning plans. I appreciated the great water pressure in the shower, providing a refreshing start to my day. For affordability, it stood out as the best value in the area, making my stay budget-friendly. Nearby eateries were also just a short walk away and had fantastic breakfast options.
